Constructed a 11,066 sq. ft. Health & Fitness Facility on an existing parking site located in the 100 area. The facility includes a gymnasium, weight and aerobics area, locker rooms, showers and toilets, reception area and associated mechanical and electrical areas. The building structure is a pre-engineered building with masonry / metal siding walls and metal standing seam roof, aluminum storefront and entrances. The contract required the construction follow the rules of the United States Green Building Council’s LEED Silver Rating

This project is the first LEEDS certified commercial building for NMSU, as well as Otero County and Alamogordo, New Mexico. The project's goal is to obtain silver certification upon completion.
